Going through some model tests, I was missing my score all the time in a simple question. Lets have a look on it first –
The group that authorizes changes that must be installed faster than the normal process is called the ?
A. Urgent Change Board (UCB)
B. CAB Emergency Committee (CAB/EC)
C. Urgent Change Authority (UCA)
D. Emergency CAB (ECAB)
A and C are undoubtedly the wrong choices. I was so confident with B, as my ITIL V3 study materials using this term, which was coming up wrong always.
I know even one mark can make a big difference; I surfed on net to conclude this confusion. There I got that same thing happened with many. Analyzing others comments, it was understood that ITIL reference book, Service Transition, itself is not clearly using this term.
Fact is, the up gradation from V2 to V3 came up with some additions and changes; Emergency CAB (ECAB) is one of those changes under Change Management. Thus finally it is much clear that the actual answer is D. Emergency CAB (ECAB).
(At least I secured one mark now 🙂 )
Good work. Keep reading more 🙂
study worked finally 🙂
One of changes we could do without, because a lot of people were already used to CAB/EC.
Have you noticed what became of FSC-forward schedule of change?
